The power of iteration
I rethink the set-up sourcing with each new search: I start from a blank sheet of paper, I make a new analysis of the project/need, I think about keywords, exclusions, the ideal profile... which allows me to complete the initial set-up.
Knows what's working and what isn't
I keep a history of my requests, including: Date of the request + Relevance of the request + Keywords used (copy/paste the request) + Source used to conduct the request
I log the most relevant requests on TextExpander so I don't have to retype them every time.
Re-use what you can
I create "smart templates" on TextExpander, which I then assemble and customize according to the targeted profile (technos, seniority, hobbies): 2 introductory versions + 2 closing versions + core message by techno + 2 project descriptions by techno + 2 company descriptions.
Deep work slots
I organize my week on Monday morning, and I plan time for: sourcing, advanced sourcing (additional information to customize the approach), contact, follow-up.
I divide my days into half days: ½ day sourcing on need A + ½ day contact and engage on need B. This gives me time to do advanced sourcing on need A before the phase of contacting profiles for need A.
